Gottino, despite being listed as one of the
best new US restaurant by Travel and Leisure magazine, was actually a disappointment for us. The salumi and rabbit pot pie were not bad, but the rest of the dishes tasted like they were prepared yesterday and heated up before they were served to us (We found out later that the executive chef was out the night we were there).
We really liked the rustic look and atmosphere of the restaurant, and we had high expectation since we have heard so much about the chef/owner Jody Williams. In the end, we still like
Salumeria Rosi so much more!

I believe this was Gottino's lasagna?
