I have no idea what the restaurant's name is... since it's at Bunga Raya area (Malacca's chinatown) I'll call it the Bunga Raya Char Siu Fan place. Char Siu is Cantonese style BBQ pork and we serve it over rice in Malaysia. This place makes heavenly char siu and roasted pork bellies.
Gan: Again, I'm being biased as a lot of them are probably more nostalgic than anything else but I still think the char siu and roasted pork belly, etc is still better in Malaysia than say... Hong Kong. These are typical Cantonese/Hong Kong dishes but until now, I still feel the way it's made back home is much tastier.
