Malaysian Curry Chicken + Fried Meehoon (Vermicelli)
Weekdays are cooking at home, no eating out days. Gan told me that he misses Malaysian curry chicken with fried meehoon(vermicelli), so I decided to cook some for him on Monday. Cooking curry chicken requires quite abit of patience (which I lack), but I tried anyways. It turned out not bad, although it could look more appetizing if I added more chilli paste to make the curry look redder (but it'll also become spicier). Gan: I helped too! I ate them up!

This is how you eat it in Malaysia -- Fried Vermicelli + curry chicken = heaven! Gan: Of all the curries of the world, I guess M'sian curry, with coconut milk, to thicken it is still our favorite.

Looks sooo good! I'm so inspired that I'm getting Nick to cook me some beehoon and curry this weekend :)
lol....I can give you the recipe and you can cook for Nick ;> (nick, you have to thank me for this, hehehe)
Wow. I was just scrolling through all the pictures of your exotic meals in various cities, and I must say the most delicious came straight from your home. The curry sauce looks mouth watering. The chicken looks amazingly tender. Altogether a success in the kitchen! I am still trying to understand how you were able to work a full day at Morgan Stanley and have enough energy to prepare a 2 hour meal. You must post your recipe! -Kerrin
Dear anonymous (Kerrin!), I don't cook for 2 hours all the time, just once in a while. I think Gan got this treat on Monday because he lets me buy my shoes!! lol
